Posada Yum Kin Terms and Conditions

Posada Yum Kin is committed to having the property in complete order for our Guests and properly attending to your needs throughout your stay.

Check-in time is after 15:00. Check-out time is before 11:00.

Posada Yum Kin is responsible for the staff salaries. Gratuities are recommended and may be offered for maid service, breakfast service, etc. and are at the sole discretion of the Guest. In case the Guest needs additional services, i.e. a babysitter, laundry, etc. please ask the Guest Services Representative for assistance. The Guest will be responsible for this additional cost and payment.

Posada Yum Kin does not allow pets.

We greatly appreciate Guests not smoking in the rooms and solarium areas.

Additional guests of more than the listed occupancy rates (see https://pyktulum.com/accommodations/our-suites-at-a-glance/) will be charged a $10 per person per night fee. A pull-out bed per room is available upon request (fee may apply).

We welcome group bookings! Posada Yum Kin is the perfect place for weddings and business groups to meet. Groups booking in excess of 3 rooms should contact the hotel directly before booking for payment terms and pricing. Posada Yum Kin reserves the right to limit or refuse lodging to large groups due to the size of our hotel. Quite simply, if you have a group, contact us directly so we get it right.


A 50% deposit is payable within 24 hours of booking and your credit card will be charged immediately, the remaining 50% is to be paid on arrival via credit or cash, in USD or MXN. We also accept Pay Pal. Taxes apply and will be charged in addition to the nightly rate. We do not charge any resort fees.

We do not overbook our hotel, so once your room deposit is paid for and you have received a confirmation letter, you can be confident that your room is reserved for you. With that in mind, you are responsible for all room charges regardless of last minute weather, travel or family complications.

Holiday Guarantee/Cancellation Policy:

Reservations during Holiday periods (Dec 18th – Jan 8th). A 50% deposit is payable within 24 hours of booking and your credit card will be charged immediately. Full payment should be made, and if card is on file will be charged automatically, 3 weeks before guests’ arrival. If the remaining 50% is not paid three weeks prior then your reservation is subject to cancellation.

Reservation deposits during Holiday periods will not be refunded.


For changes made more than 14 days before arrival, 25 percent of total price of the reservation will be charged. Refunds or credits may be granted on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of management. Unused credit may be offered to the Guest for his/her use within the next twelve months following the date of cancellation, subject to the availability of Posada Yum Kin.

For changes made less than 14 days before arrival- Reservation changes, cancellations or no-shows occurring less than 14 days prior to check-in are subject to payment in full for reservation total and will be charged accordingly.

After the room deposit is made (50% of total stay costs) and a confirmation email returned to the guest, the room will be held unless notified otherwise by guest or representing parties. Posada Yum Kin does not overbook its rooms. Guests canceling, reducing or changing reservations will be held accountable for all overnight charges.


Posada Yum Kin is not responsible, and will assume no fault or cost associated with:

Any complaint, damage, expenditure or any other financial loss, either related to a person or property that has been the result of a wound, accident, death, delay, alteration of dates or inconvenience, by any cause, including problems related to delays or cancellation of airlines, or due to inclement weather.

Posada Yum Kin is not responsible for the well being of any children who stay at Posada Yum Kin with respect to any accident or other occurrence that may happen to them in the swimming pool and throughout the hotel premises. Parents and guardians of said children are solely responsible for their safety and well-being.

Posada Yum Kin is not responsible for accidents or injuries that may happen to guests in the swimming pool.

Posada Yum Kin is not responsible for any damage caused by any natural disasters including, but not limited to, tremors, earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, and landslides.

In case Guests require laundry services, they must specify to the Staff the proper care of any delicate garments. Posada Yum Kin is not responsible for any damage to the Guests’ wardrobe.
